Engels A good action caper from France for Netflix. The first episode was solid and the second one is in a very similar vein, i.e. it keeps its standard and it's a bit of a shame that it didn't bring anything extra to make me go higher with the rating. The plot is very simple and straightforward, so a fan of stories, drama and twists will definitely not find something to like here, but for those who enjoy proper stunt action, it's perfect for a boring evening. Visually, Lost Bullet 2 is on a decent level, the action is good – the fight at the police station is a highlight and the final car chase where the main character tunes up his Renault by sending the other cars 10 meters into the air was definitely admirable. Even the final short fight had something to it. The film is well paced and moves forward quickly, so there's definitely no boredom, it's simple and you don't need to think about it too much, probably like Cobra 11, you either enjoy it or you don't. 6.5/10 ()

Engels A film for which I would never have expected a sequel under any circumstances. On the other hand, the first one had its charm, so I gave the second one a chance. The French really went all out here, and I probably needed this kind of adrenaline ride after a long time. Wonderfully shot chases with great practical effects, followed by successful one-on-one fights (the one at the police station, just like in the first part, wins hands down, where the choreographers really had fun). That's why it's ultimately disappointing that the story stagnates and treads water. A lot. You can immediately tell that the creators didn't originally plan for a sequel, so they often wing it. The script decisions unfortunately don't make sense, which is a shame. If you can get past this, Lost Bullet 2 has something to offer. Just don't scrutinize it too much. But let's be honest, it's still better than the American The Fast and the Furious (except for launching cars 10 meters into the air :D). I give it 6/10. ()
