Wanneer hun vliegtuig neerstort in de Stille Oceaan en aan de rand van een onderwaterravijn tot stilstand komt, zitten Ava (Sophie McIntosh) en een handvol overlevenden vast in de cabine. The problem with survival movies is that they need to be believable and realistic - No Way Up is neither. Putting aside that the group of survivors is woke according to the latest trends, what "impressed" me the most is the fact that they can all hold their breath longer than professional pearl divers, are more resistant to cold than Wim Hof, and in the middle of the ocean, in freezing water, they don't even have stiff nipples and can easily swim hundreds of meters underwater straight to the surface (water pressure and decompression, not a big deal), so overall, the movie is a big no-no.
