Jiří Křižan's excellent script, which managed to take the basic theme of "reunion after years" to an excellent point, was taken by director Vladimír Michálek as the basis for a filmmaking experiment. In the medium length, he and cinematographer Martin Štrba played with the visuals to the last drop. The alternation of filters, most of which fluctuate on the border of black and white, and the "handheld style without a tripod" add a rough grain of realism, which is ultimately brought down by the rather unremarkable actors trying to be too ordinary, and a bit more emotional expression wouldn't have hurt them. However, overall, it still deserves full marks, especially during the recalling of a particular photograph or the conversation at the end.
