An interesting story that carries a hint of originality, plus the Russian setting of the film greatly enhances it and is utilized to deepen the depressive and even eerie atmosphere. For me, however, the film is just too drawn-out to hold my attention throughout the entire runtime. The concept and relative originality do count for something, though.
