What is functional and positive is the independent theater adaptation by Georges Feydeau, widely known and performed countless times on stages all over the world. The story is better in a theater than in a film. On stage, it simply has more charm. On the other hand, the American version falls short even when compared to the television adaptation, where the main roles were played by Viktor Preiss and Zlata Adamovská. Overall impression: 65%. ()
