Engels In the Czech Republic, it has recently become popular to criticize one's own nation in terms of how they behaved towards people during World War II. And behold. Even France, which has always been quite nationalistic, has started engaging in this self-flagellation. This film shows France from a slightly different perspective, from the side of the Jewish resistance, who tried their fate in Paris, only to pay for it. It is definitely an interesting film with many powerful thoughts. Mostly regarding France's attitude towards Jews during World War II. However, the film was incredibly boring and its length was honestly a huge suffering, which is a shame because such a theme should be seen throughout Europe so that everyone realizes that we are all just people and that the past was incredibly difficult, as everything was interconnected and even a minor mention could lead to the death of a loved one and so on. Shame. I liked the idea in the film, if it were shorter, I would give it a try and wouldn't criticize it here. ()
