Aan het eind van een feestje op kantoor heeft David Hargrove eindelijk het lef om zijn mooie collega Emily Brandt aan te spreken. Ze besluiten om nog even wat te gaan drinken in de stad als David’s aangeschoten collega Corey ook aanhaakt. Corey moet nog even pinnen dus maakt het drietal een nachtelijke stop bij een geldautomaat. De alledaagse handeling op een verlaten parkeerplaats loopt echter uit op een wanhopige strijd om te overleven wanneer een kerel in een grote parka jas voor het pinhokje opduikt. (Dutch FilmWorks)

Christ on a cross! This is some very lightweight horror for very undemanding viewers… It’s pretty decently made, but everything is so derivative that, already a few minutes after watching, I hardly remember anything. And no, there isn’t any German hiding things at my place. But on top of it, it pissed me off passively, rather than actively.

The movie ATM was a disappointment for me because, based on the trailer, I thought it could be a good thriller. It's not a good thriller because it doesn't build suspense well. The interesting initial situation is led to its anticipated and uninteresting conclusion, only to be followed by a twist that is dull and uninteresting in line with the spirit of the whole film. It's weak, but it might appeal to some people. On TV.
