Engels Well, it isn’t what it used to be. What more should I tell you? A third installment is a third installment. It benefits from the past, recycles what it can, but on the other hand – it’s still fairly fine. Well… there aren’t that many ideas, but this absolutely crazy trip can still entertain you. For example, the first scene with Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan was totally brutal. But the better scenes alternate with worse ones and the bad story isn’t helping either. And when we accept the fact that this installment has a bad story, it is hard to find some positives about it. Fortunately, there are still the actors themselves, who are kind of salvaging it and so what you can count on is no matter what the movie is like, it is not a waste of time. Provided you have seen the previous installments and you liked them. ()

Engels It's one of those cases where each installment of the series borrows from itself but claims that by being slightly different, it's actually just continuing what it has already created. The move to the British Museum isn't essential, but it tries surprisingly hard for emotion at the end. More than the film itself, the fact that it's one of the last roles for both Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney touched me. ()
