De lieve en knappe Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) heeft een bizarre relatie met zijn kat en hond. Hij deelt het huis met zijn doortrapte kat Mr. Whiskers en trouwe hond Bosco. Terwijl Mr. Whiskers er alles aan doet om Jerry ervan te overtuigen dat hij een seriemoordenaar is, houdt Bosco hem op het rechte pad. Het is pas wanneer hij per ongeluk zijn bloedmooie collega Fiona (Gemma Arterton) vermoordt dat hij besluit om zijn medicatie terug te nemen. En de realiteit blijkt toch niet zo rooskleurig te zijn als hij had gehoopt. (Remain in Light)

A pleasant genre film. Ryan Reynolds is great, the evil cat is amazing, the doggy portrays the best friend correctly, the humour works occasionally too, so the only complaint is the lack of gore, which is a pity, in two scenes the film had a decent momentum, after that it sort of mellowed, but still a nice thing. 75%

This really got to me. The poster is quite intriguing, and the cast as well, because I really like both Ryan and Anna, but for Marjane Satrapi to direct something like this... Well, I was very surprised, but also very pleased. A magically brutal and absurd film, which actually seemed quite normal and beautiful to me in this respect.
