Engels WTF??!! I genuinely enjoyed this series, but this ending? I didn't expect the pirates to win, and I would have been upset if they had because I appreciate realism. But why did the creators turn the finale into an overly sentimental, cheesy disaster? I know what's trendy these days, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it. Just like I can't accept the idea of a Black man playing a Norse god, I can't accept an ending with a happy reunion of two gay men on a plantation. Back then, that would have likely landed them both in serious trouble. (01.11.2017)
