Heavy-handed boredom. I didn't learn anything new about the topic, which is disappointing since I felt I knew very little to begin with. I get that the filmmakers were likely constrained by budget, which explains the film's heavy reliance on interior shots. However, the result is a script filled with pointless dialogue and an unnecessary romantic subplot, stretching an already dull film to an even duller 90 minutes. It feels like they had nothing more to say but insisted on talking anyway. (13.11.2023)
