AKA Facetime (2018) (S02E06)
There wasn't much action, tension, or a fast pace, but Trish the junkie managed to make me laugh. On the downside, the scenes with Jeri are seriously getting on my nerves — I’m quietly hoping her illness speeds things up. Knowing my luck, that’s unlikely. The ending, though, felt like something straight out of Star Wars. ()
AKA I Want Your Cray Cray (2018) (S02E07)
Finally, a truly excellent episode! It focused on past events but in an incredibly entertaining way. The creators managed to fill in a lot of gaps and revealed things I hadn’t even considered, like where the name of the main character's detective agency came from. ()
AKA Ain't We Got Fun (2018) (S02E08)
After the flashback episode, we returned to the present, and my rating dipped again. It needs a change — Trish with her inhaler is getting repetitive, Jeri’s storyline isn’t engaging at all, and the only glimmer of hope was the action-packed ending. Let’s see where it goes from here. ()
AKA Shark in the Bathtub, Monster in the Bed (2018) (S02E09)
I still can’t shake the feeling that the second season lacks a main villain, forcing the creators to lean on family drama and causing the show to lose some of its quality. Jeri and Trish are becoming increasingly annoying — Jeri slows down the story, and Trish doesn’t bring anything new or entertaining anymore. ()
AKA Pork Chop (2018) (S02E10)
Although I enjoyed the tenth episode more than the previous one, it still didn’t earn a five-star rating. Once again, Trish and Jeri are to blame — they’re just not interesting anymore. The prison scenes were good and even had some atmosphere, and as usual, the best part came at the end. ()
AKA Three Lives and Counting (2018) (S02E11)
The episode had its bright moments, but not enough of them. Conversations with the dead worked great in Dexter, but here they just annoyed me. Add to that the unhinged Trish, and the fun evaporated. After such a strong first season, I'm increasingly disappointed, which is a real shame. ()
AKA Pray for My Patsy (2018) (S02E12)
Trish is still alive, and once again, too much time is spent on Jeri and her issues. Ironically, I added an extra star compared to the previous episode, mainly because of Jeri. I have to admit, her cold-blooded manipulation was impressive. ()
AKA Playland (2018) (S02E13)
The finale had some strong moments, but it also left me disappointed. The biggest issue was the predictability of certain events, which took away the element of surprise. I can only hope the next season will be back to the show's former glory. 4*- ()
