Engels Such a Scandinavian variation on Ted Lasso. Just more serious, more feminist, and at times more or less football-oriented (depending on the specific episode). However, the Norwegians maintained their standard filmmaking quality, including the well-shot beautiful environment. Some episodes were downright great. But it was worse with the individual relationships in that town. For example, Helena was sometimes really annoying. Even though as the first female coach of a men's football team I wished her great success. Her behavior was often way over the line. The same goes for her daughter. She was completely unnecessary to the plot and had nothing to do with the football world. Her adolescent outbursts were the biggest downside of the series (if you exclude those ultra-unnecessary LGBT moments) and dragged them down quite a bit. Fortunately, there was always an episode focusing on football that got me excited. In both seasons. On the other hand, relationships with the football players (some in particular) were formed very easily. In the end, I devoured both seasons like a raspberry and I must say that the conclusion of this story was more than nice. Even though a third season was planned, which will probably never be realized, the series is not a waste of time, neither its content nor its ending. ()
