Hawkeye

A solid 90s series based on the classic novels from the "Leatherstocking Tales" series. The author of "The Last of the Mohicans," James Fenimore Cooper, published them between 1827 and 1841 and they take place a century earlier. A classic adventure read from the colonial era. Hawkeye was one of the settlers and the series focuses primarily on the French and Indian War after 1755. The biggest asset is Elizabeth Shields, played by the great Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman from the 70s). A woman like that in the wilderness is no match for The Stranger or Naughty Marietta. (28.06.2021)
