This comedy-drama is set in Central Europe during the summer of 1941. Yiddish-speaking Jews purchase a train, forge identity papers, and leave town. Posing as both prisoners and Nazis, they hope to reach Palestine via the Soviet Union, but problems arise when they encounter real Germans. (officiële tekst van distribiteur)
Recensie (1)
Train of Life is an intelligent, sophisticated and directorially original film. But it’s also cold. What you prefer is only up to you. I prefer the warmth of Roberto Benigni’s Life is Beautiful, for example. ()
