Day of the Mummy

Day of the Mummy is another bad example that perhaps it's no longer possible to make a good horror movie with a mummy. Well, maybe it is possible, but it's been a long time since someone with sufficient skills took on this endeavor, both in terms of writing a good, suspenseful, and intriguing script, as well as in terms of crafting a good horror that could scare at least in a single scene. Here, they failed to even inject that proper B-movie vibe, where it could have been at least a bit funny. (28.04.2015)
