Nu George zoveel tijd doorbrengt met zijn nieuwe vriend Will, voelt Stuart zich eenzaam. Wanneer hij in zijn rode sportautootje naar huis rijdt, wordt hij opgeschrikt door een uit de lucht vallende vogel. Haar naam is Margalo, ze is gewond aan haar vleugel en ze wordt achtervolgd door een grote valk. Stuart neemt haar mee naar huis. Wanneer Margalo spoorloos verdwijnt, ontdekt Stuart dat ze door de Valk wordt bedreigd en dat hij haar gemene dingen laat doen. Stuart gaat haar redden. (Columbia TriStar Films)

It’s emotionally just as good as the first installment. It’s a family film that won't offend and is occasionally funny, but not overly so, and above all, great for kids because there are moments that can make them shiver with fear as well as moments when they'll cheer with their hero. The white mouse is just a lure for kids. How many families probably got a rat or mouse as a pet after these movies? The magic of the first one doesn't quite work as well anymore, but the follow-up is fairly decent.
